He was voted 'the sexiest man alive' last year, but Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds plays it down when asked how he felt about the title. "All I can say is that I felt sexy!" he says. The actor is more keen to talk about his plans to visit India. "I want to take a break and visit India. I have quite a few Indian friends and was lucky enough to have the spicy food they made which tasted delectable. Moreover, I have heard a lot about Rajasthan and I am keen on visiting that part of India," says the actor, who announced his separation from actor Scarlet Johansson last year. Ryan admits that he has seen a "couple" of Bollywood films."I have seen a couple of Bollywood films and totally loved them. Indian actors are just fantastic. They can do almost everything - fight, dance, sing all at the same time," he raves. Interestingly, Ryan and Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan are coming up with their own super-hero movies at around the same time, but he's quick to say that his superhero character is different from the Bollywood one. "When you meet Hal Jordan, you will notice that he's a deeply arrogant, kind of reckless, immature, and kind of self-possessed guy.I mean, that's from my point of view and he is forced to grow up and acknowledge this higher calling," he says. Who's his favourite Indian star?"Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, I must admit, is a favourite. He is the real super-hero," he says. Doesn't he think that the Bollywood song and dance routines are removed from reality? "I do not agree to this. Cinema is a very large medium and is different across countries. I believe songs and dance do form an integral part of your cinema," he ends. | ||||
