He's GORGEOUS..it's a romance...and...THERES TWO OF HIM!

AGNEEPATH ~ An angry film, but still, I liked it!  I got caught up in being very p o'd at the dad for takin off like that...but overall I enjoyed Mr. Bachchan in this one a lot.

SARKAR ~ OH YEAH...this one was primo good...

And of course I've seen CHEENI KUM (one of my FIRST AB films to see) NISHABD (MY VERY FIRST AB DVD TO BUY!!!)
KABHI KABHI (LOVE it when he sings that song...I heard it in my head FOR MONTHS...in fact, I STILL HEAR IT!) and SILSILA...didnt care for it.

I still have a WHOLE lotta catchin up to do...I think I'll watch HUM tonight...still has the cello on it...but...pretty sure it's time for that cellophane to be...removed.

With respect and affection,

Valorie

Being somewhat of a 'newbie' to Mr. Bachchan's vast film career...what films would you all recommend I watch BEFORE going to NYC/NJ to experience BBUDDAH?

Clearly, there are several IMPORTANT references to OTHER Bachchan films in BBUDDAH...Can you all help me to find these exact movies and watch them BEFORE the July 1st opening of BBUDDAH?  I wanna do this thing RIGHT so I fully understand and appreciate EVERYTHING Mr. Bachchan's put in his movie for me to enjoy...

I welcome any and all suggestions...I own lots of him films but perhaps not the right ones...I still have time at this point to get whatever ones I might need.

Love to all,

Valorie, Your EF Forever!

That scene where AB completely destroys that brand new car really establishes BACHCHAN as we all know. And it had its relevance to the story, so played out really well. It is such ingredients which made those movies work week after week.
