Subject: [bigb] Now, that's an item

Bachchan records a medley of
his film songs in his own voice, and dances to it in a sequence choreographed by
Remo d'Souza
Want to know what the bunch of foreign
dancers, recently hackled by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena activists, are doing in
Mumbai? They are shooting a lavish item number of course, but they're doing so
with none other than Big B.
Amitabh Bachchan at an earlier
performance
Amitabh Bachchan has sung and recorded a
medley of his evergreen classics including Pag ghungroo (Namak Halaal), Khai ke
paan Banaraswala (Don), Apni toh jaise taise (Lawaaris) and Jahan yeh teri nazar
hai (Kaalia).
The dance has been choreographed by Remo D'Souza and will
have Bachchan incorporate original steps from the films. Said a source,
"Director Puri Jagannath and Remo sat down with Amitabh to decide the look,
make-up, and steps that are an amalgamation of the original Big B
classics."
While Bachchan and Puri remained tight-lipped about the item
song, d'Souza was more forthcoming. "Yes, we're bringing together some classic
songs of Mr Bachchan and we have got him to sing them. I've kept the original
steps in mind. At the same time, I've given it a new spin."
Woooooaaahhhh!!!

Today's blogThe work is not going to be possible to explain, though Shankar and friends did come over to the set today. I do hope better sense shall prevail with them and they shall not divulge anything that could take away the surprise element. I hope you are reading this Shankar. It was a pleasure meeting up with you, to have first hand knowledge of the social and charitable work that you have undertaken and also to apologize to you for not being able to see you off. But I was so busy drying my clothes of sweat and retouching my make up before sitting down for a meal that by the time it was all over, you had left for the airport and back to Dubai. Thank you for your gifts and thank you for initiating a social work that shall benefit all of society
| congrats shankar and anamika. and yes, no details to anybody, not even to close friends, this might affect the movie. can anyone of you please share with us the charitable work that you people are doing in UAE? it is great that AB has acknowledged this good work in your blog that you people have been doing, congrats once again. --- On Sat, 4/30/11, Shankar <shankit_2000@yahoo.com> wrote:

Amit It is not question of average actor or excellent actor. I would not have liked even Amir Khan or Abhishek Bachchan or Tom Cruise to do this VIJAY DINANATH CHOUHAN ROLE. actually, I dont like to see any successful movies of AB being remade. Yes, if someone wants to remake Insaniyat or Boom or Jaadugar and take up the challenge of making the movie superhit, then he/she is welcome. Why touch the superhit movies of AB? Such hype is created that the remake movie gets a terrific opening. --- On Sat, 4/30/11, Amit Sangani <smallb_bigb@yahoo.com> wrote:
