Sadly, that 'all MrB/all week long' film festival will most likely not happen anytime soon...and it'll NEVER happen in the little town where I live because there are only 2 theaters and NEITHER one plays foreign films...EVER...talk...about...REDNECKS!

Oh, that's lovely! You and your Wife can create your own schedules! Must be great to be able to arrange that around whatever functions the kids have going on...I have to wake upp at 5AM/get ready, leave by 7AM to be at the Post Office by 7:30...SIX DAYS A WEEK! Had to LITERALLY BEG to have 4th of July weekend off so I could travel for BBUDDAH release date...it will be worth it though...not only will I get to see Mr.Bachchan on the big screen, (ONLY 2ND TIME I'LL EVER HAVE SEEN HIM ON BIG SCREEN!!! Saw ALADIN 3times at theater~only counting that as ONE time, so this will be the second...) BUT I'LL ALSO GET TO MEET SOME EF TOO!  Sure hope everyone will make it so that we can meet...It'll all work out...no matter what...
It'll be SO FUN!!!  GO BBUDDAH GO BBUDDAH GO BBUDDAH!

I work from home, my wife also from same profession, so we two work together from home. work schedule is completely on my hand. on match days (football) or days when AB movie release, i do less work .  but if I am determined that I will watch AB movie, I will do that irrespective of heavy rain, work, or whatever obstacle comes.
 
previously 1st show used to be on 12 pm (single theater), now after introduction of multiplex, first show starts as early as 9 am, sometimes even 7.30 or 8 am also.
 
now if they decide to have paid preview one day earlier, then show will be in evening.

Is it like early afternoon, 2ish or 3ish?  Thats the way it is here on weekdays...Earlier shows on Sat/Sun...

TEJAS!!! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I DID!!! 
I took Friday, Saturday (no work Sundays/Monday is HOLIDAY) AND TUESDAY OFF FROM WORK so that I could go SOMEwhere
and see BBUDDAH on it's opening weekend!!!
 
I've been wanting to meet Jasmine, Rochelle and Sunita so NJ/NYC seemed like THE PLACE TO GO!!!
 
Keep talkin to'em Tejas...convince EVERYONE ELSE TO SKIP WORK AND MEET ME AT THE AIRPORT OR THE THEATRE!!!
If nobody comes to pick me up?  I'LL FIND MY WAY!!!

Speaking of which, my plane arrives at LaGuardia just after 4PM on Friday, July 1st...I want to get OFF that plane and go STRAIGHT TO THE NEAREST THEATRE PLAYING BBUDDAH SO I CAN SEE IT ON IT'S OPENING DAY!  Yes, I'll want to see it again while I'm up there but...I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO SEE 
MR. BACHCHAN'S MOVIE ON IT'S OPENING DAY IN ORDER TO SHOW MY SUPPORT...  That said, I have no idea where the closest Indian theater might be or how to get to it...
Sometime in the next coupla days, I'd like some feedback from
my New Jersey/New York Extended Family Members on what they can recommend I do...
A) Where's the nearest Indian Cinema to LaGuardia Airport?
B) Does ANYONE live close enough to this airport to be familiar with it and it's shuttles etc?
C) Would ANYONE in the NYC/NJ AREA like to join me on FRIDAY NIGHT JULY 1ST when I go see BBUDDAH
on opening day?  I'm not afraid to go alone, I did it with ALADIN and I will do it again, if necessary...
