Director Prakash Jha was recently in town along with superstar Amitabh Bachchan to promote his new movie 'Aarakshan'. Rights from all the controversies set catching fire everything brought this movie into limelight other than big names like Big B and Jha. He was excited and thrilled to bring forth such a sensitive issue of 'Arakshan' which is like a plague in the Indian education system. He said, " My movie may not offer any solution, but surely will state the pain of both sides. 'Aarakshan' is already there, but my movie shows how to drive youth through this contemporary situation."
He is of the believe that if actors fail to perform then the fault lies not in their performance but lies with the director itself. When pointed out by other actors are not accompanying him for the promotion he said, " Everybody has their own schedule and they are busy, Amitabh sir alone is enough to garner necessary eyeballs for the promotion."
As media sarcastically pointed out the system of 'Aarakshan' in Bollywood, Prakash got really irritated and said, " Art has no boundary, yahaan pe qualities ka 'Aarakshan ' hai." He also added that he has no fear about Censor Board. He said, "I try to be responsible to my viewers, fans and society in general. I don't think about Censor Board."
Prakash Jha also appreciated the people of Bhopal as he feels they are the most disciplined lot and he believes that Bhopal as a location is very lucky for him.
He ended by saying that "Aarakshan has shown a very sensitive issue and it will definitely sensitize the youth." The film releases on 12th August with Prateik, Deepika and Saif as other leads
