Re: [bigb] Run "Bbuddah" Run

Good point, I like your presentation here. Let's see how the director does it. For example Aladdin was not a bad movie but they screwed form the 1st trailer and ultimately it was near a disaster. I hope they do better presentation and marketing going forward.

Thanks

Fellas,

As we all know "Bbuddah" arrives on July 4th Wknd.....it's a good releasing timing spcly for us North American fans due to the LONG holiday wknd....BUT Da Man's movies hasn't open well in North America in a very long time! and hoping this Bbuddah sprung a change for the BEST!!!!

Having said the above and I/we all in here have hoped that each every movie in the last few years would have done the trick with A new/younger director @ the helm, but all efforts fell FLAT and the opening and the end results of those flicks were disastrous............... So what needs to be done differently this time to avert the same fate of the last few?

In my opinion it starts with the first look of the flick, and as we all seen the few pictures that has been leaked and I think the AB Corp/Director should stick to those few and make a poster from them only and my pick is the one that shows Da Man running from behind and his blue Merc is shown in the background.....and the last time Da Man was shown running on a movie poster was "DON" and I don't need to add anything more here I guess:)...............

After the first look is unveiled and when it's time for them teaser(s) to hit the screen/TV/Internet....then this is how they should be shown...."someone yells hey look the Bbuddah is here or something to that effect(memba the scene from Satte Pe Satta in the bar) then they should only show Da Man walking and only his lower torso should be shown and then ppl should be shown thrown all over the places..................................and the background score or I'm sure they gonna have a song for the title Bbuddah then that showed be running in the background..BUT BUT they should not LEAKED any dialogs of Da Man not even THE TAG LINE!!!!!

But the most important question is how the hell Mr Director is presenting Da Man as "Bbuddah" in the movie? I hope Da Man is shown some what like the way he was shown in "Khudaar"...he was down to earth/funny/and went on a rampage and erupted when his lil bro challenged/called him OLD and POOR!!!!

The point I'm trying to make here by giving parallels to Don/SPS/Khudaar is cuz Mr Director claims he is showing Da Man of 70's/80's and what could be better than Da Man from these flicks!! and THE most important of ALL is how the flick is marketed to the YOUNGER demographics?...so I'm gonna come back with that later.........................

Suri.
