A day after members of the Raj Thackeray-led MNS' film wing disrupted shooting of Buddah, being produced by Amitabh Bachchan's AB Corp, citing violations of norms on inclusion of foreign artists, its director has tendered an apology to the outfit. "We had hired foreign junior actors and dan "We want to apologise for the neglect and assure you that this shall not happen in the future and will perform all activities as per law without hurting anyone's sentiments," MNS quoted the letter as saying. "We are opposing the inclusion of around 40 foreign artistes in the shoot without proper permissions and documents," MNS film wing chief Amey Khopkar had told PTI, after the protest in Dadar area. "The foreign artistes are working for this film without work permits, proper visa and relevant documents," Khopkar had said, adding the police station concerned was not informed about their participation in the shoot. |
