April 15, 2011, (Sawf News) - Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya Bachchan finally shot their first TV commercial together for Tata Group's Jewelery brand Tanishq. Their enduring love is evident from the footage in the ad, as well as an anecdote about its filming that we have for you.

Amitabh and Jaya have been married since 1973.

The commercial below was filmed last week in Mehboob Studios in Bandra, Mumbai.

Bachchan, 68, who has a well earned reputation for punctuality, was asked to be on set at 10 am, but he came 45 min late at 10:45 am.

Not willing to let a rare opportunity pass, director Prakash Verma teasingly called Bachchan late.

Before Bachchan could respond, Jaya, 63, who was already on set, sprung to her husband's defense.

"My call time was 9 am and I was here at 8:15 am. His was 10 am, but he is a bit late so it evens out," she deadpanned to the director.

"I think I should appoint Jaya as my PRO now...she can really defend my case well!" Bachchan laughed.
