Reply: [bigb] FATS/TEAM.....BBUDDAH Promotion Game Plan....

 

Okay, FIRST ~ I'm psyched about the possibility of BBUDDAH being pre~screened by a select group of AB fan's who can be objective and who will be asked to make creative/constructive criticisms to 'tweak' the movie BEFORE it's released to the public...
THIS IS FORWARD THINKING!
THIS IS A VERY GOOD IDEA! 
THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE FOR ALADIN...
it would've helped make ALADIN into a much better end product.
 
SECOND ~ I also like SURI's idea of a paid screening being held in a MAXIMUM CAPACITY venue, BEFORE the actual release date to generate excitement...if this happened and was covered by the media, I think the end result would be a good one!  I think it could positively impact opening weekend attendance.
I think if Mr. Bachchan made a personal appearance there, it would REALLY cause excitement! 
i.e. ~ Sunday's Darshaan...

I don't want to post this on Da BIGBLOG, so let's start brain storming from here.....I've few ideas and will come up with some more as days go by......but this is a long holiday(Memorial Day) weekend in USA so I won't be wired up all the time but will check in time to time:)
 
First and foremost I wanna know where and how wide spread is the release? So we need each cities theather listings for all over the world(India/Middle east/Europe/North America's and on).
 
Once we have the above then I suggest Da Man gives out like 20 free tickets through his TWITTER account in each of the big cities in INDIA.
 
And also Da Man should have some kind of contest again thru his TWITTER to lure the younger crowd...and the reward should a role in his next AB CORP production! once the younger generation is onboard then nothing stopping this from becoming a ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER!!
 
Team in India, I need to know which stadium holds the largest seating in India? Once we get the info I was thinking why not Da Man hold a paid screening @ that venue b4 the release and that would be a HOT/BREAKING NEWS covered by all channels and then after the show take live feed back from the masses, That will guarntee a 100% opening on the very first day itself.
