Dear All Frankly, I do not understand the need for fans to personally distribute posters- atleast in India.Like online campaign -facebook, twitter,etc is the best way we can support. I have already started... The responsibility of Hoardings, publicity for theatrical release rests on the distributors. I am sure eventually the posters/hoardings will be visible all across the prominent places.Here we can support by giving feedback -visibility, whether there is a buzz/excitement amongst people, are people talking about the movie,etc. If AB corp can connect members of our group to the local distributors-our group members can contribute by giving creative suggestions for the film's promotion. My sincere suggestions (Am sure all this and more must have been planned by AB Corp professionals. Am noting down these amateurish suggestions and sharing with all---cause I am pretty excited ! only 30 days to go for another AB release!. ) : 1. Since the film releases on July 1, 2011, the campaign needs to intensity. Atleast by June 10,2011, there should be banners/posters all over the city ( As on date, not much happening in Madhya Pradesh) 2. AB corp must release atleast three versions of the promo-songs interpersed with select scenes.(All humourous-typical AB style)-Humour is what will bring in the audience. 3. FM Radio should be blaring songs from the movie-prominently at least by 10th of June. 4. The films cast and crew to feature in popular TV shows by July 20 5. AB must physically visit atleast 20 cities across India, interact with the press and public-this will ofcourse feature prominently in National and Local media.... Festival time!!
