Yes whatever suggestion you and valorie are given, they are MUST, but I am saying we fans also can help a bit. Obviously, if promotion through media is not done, then there will be no publicity whatsoever, that is absolutely compulsary, but we fans can also try and do something.
 
Hope ABCL start their campaign on the movie soon.

No offence whatsoever, ur suggestion is brilliant and I support that as well.. In UAE, this will not hit the bulls eye.. As Tejas rightly pointed out, a premiere out here, radio coverage etc are some very effective ones.. Valorie has put forth suggestions brilliantly as well.. And frankly speaking, many a time, that works .. Interviews etc with AB in English and Hindi will catch all attention...

Aaj Tak, NDTV, CNN IBN,Times Now,Star News,Zee News...etc..

AB himself is a master in his own capacity and does very well know how to go for it... The only scary thing is , of late none of Bachchan's films are being showcased properly... 

Come on AB!!! ABCL must go all out!!! Very few days left !!!

One more thing!!! Can someone send a beautiful snippet on Bbuddah!!! We can send chain of mails all over the world!!!

Excellent suggestions by both of you, but I think these will be taken care of by the producers and the people involved with the movie. I think we fans can also do something and the suggestion of t shirt or caller tune which I gave was given from that point of view. Of course, campaign by t shirt is of 1% importance compared to campaign by media. Media campaign cannot be done by fans, they will be done by BBUDDAH TEAM.
 
We fans can also do some promotion like promoting in the social networking sites or may be giving leaflet in colleges or may be via t shirt or caller tune etc. etc. etc.

I AGREE with Shankar...MEDIA BLITZ IS THE ANSWER! 
Here are MY suggestions:
 
1) PROMOTE ON TELEVISION DURING PEAK HOURS.
2) BILLBOARDS IN HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS.
3) PREVIEWS/TRAILERS SHOWN BEFORE OTHER FILMS NOW IN THEATRES.
4) Mr. BACHCHAN NEEDS TO DO SOME KIND OF PRESS INTERVIEWS DISCUSSING BBUDDAH...
5) LOTS OF FACE TIME ON VARIOUS INTERVIEW SHOWS ON TV/NEWS SHOWS.
6) PRINT ADS IN MAJOR MAGAZINES LIKE FILMFARE/WHATEVER.
7) SATURATE THE AIRWAVES ON RADIO WITH SOUNDBITE OF KEY DIALOGUE FROM MOVIE...and you KNOW which lines I'm talkin about: 'First I beat you up then I kill you' etc...
8) ADVERTISE WHICH THEATRES WILL BE PRE~SELLING TICKETS DUE TO HIGH DEMAND!!!!!  :D
9) HAVE A CONTEST~GENERATE INTEREST BY RAFFLING OFF CHANCE TO MEET Mr. BACHCHAN USING MOVIE TICKET STUBS...they gotta have a stub proving they saw the movie first weekend...something like that...all stubs placed in drawing box...I'D SURE GO FOR THIS ONE!!!
10) HAVE A STAR STUDDED PREMIERE! PULL OUT ALL THE STOPS!!!!! INVITE Mr.BACHCHAN'S BIGGEST FANS TO ATTEND!!!!!  ESPECIALLY THE ONES WHO LIVE IN PANAMA CITY BEACH FLORIDA USA!!!!!    INVITE OTHER WELL KNOWN STARS TO ATTEND!!!

I still feel.. Promotions of Bbuddah will be very effective via media...this needs to happen...Tshirts etc are quite common in Chennai, Hyderabad..especially for regional films...

Here in UAE , this will not catch the eye!!! Radio coverage is huge here and that must be targetted... As it is now peak summer here, you will find all in their cars...
